Zvi Meirovich
Zvi Mairovich was born in Galizia, Poland in 1911. He studied with Karl Hoper at the Academy of Art in Berlin, immigrated to Israel in 1934 and settled in Haifa.
Mairovich was a member of the "New Horizons" ("Ofakim Hadashim") group. He participated three times in the Sao Paolo Biennale in the Years 1953, 1958 and 1959 and also participated in the Venice Biennale in the years 1956 and 1962 and exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in many respected establishments in Israel and around the world.
