Painting and drawing were the first subjects I devoted myself to as a child, yet decided to leave them early down the road to explore other fields of interest.
After a long journey of trial and error (Architecture, Professional Dance, Day Trading, Media Buying, Psychology, Photography, Goldsmithing and Diamond Setting, Medical Massage and Shiatzu) expending my knowledge of the world and more importantly fine tuning myself to be able to understand my own essence, I got back to my original and natural place.
This time with better mental capacity to be able to push myself beyond the known places I already visited at a young age with the visual arts mediums. As my journey was very diverse, I'm constantly searching for variety in the creative prosses as well as the painting prosses itself. Be observant and attentive enough to be able to see where new elements manifest themselves, and on the other hand, where things start to collapse. Currently I'm working with Oil paints, Pastels and Charcoal and silverpoint.
I work both from life and from photographic references. The first is primal, direct and of the moment. The second is conceptual, long term, with an attempt to show a personal point of view on social matters. Both aspire to deal with existential concerns that come from intense observational habits at both the immediate and extensive surroundings.
