Igor Skaletsky

Born 1978 in Voronezh, Russia. He is famous as a painter and collage artist. He studied at the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute and began his adventures in collage only a few years ago. In 1990 Skaletsky immigrated to Israel. Skaletsky combines traditional painting techniques with contemporary technologies. He draws his inspiration from iconic art works, and gives them his own modern interpretation, thus creating a hybrid image separated from time, place and context.
